BlueWaveNJ is proud to endorse Governor Murphy’s nomination of Matt Platkin for New Jersey’s Next Attorney General and we urge the Senate to quickly confirm him.

Matt Platkin shares our commitment to progressive values. His work as Chief Counsel for the Governor has advanced women’s rights, personal and family leave, civil rights, workers’ rights, social, economic, and racial justice as well as good government. His accomplishments, integrity, intelligence, empathy, and dedication make him an obvious choice for NJ’s next AG.

We look forward to seeing an AG’s office that will continue to repair and improve the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. That will center on women’s safety and tackle gun violence on our streets and will protect and expand our Democracy.  Matt knows what the role will require.  After all, he was pivotal in developing many of the policies he will now be implementing.
